SpongeTowels® “Cupcakes for the Cure” Contest
CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest begins on October 3, 2017 at 12:00:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (“EDT”) and ends on October 31, 2017 at 11:59:59 a.m. EDT (the “Contest Period”). For the purposes of these Official Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”), a day (each, a “Day”) commences at 12:00:00 a.m. EDT and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT – except for the first Day (October 3, 2017) which commences at 12:00:00 p.m. EDT and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. EDT and the last Day (October 31, 2017) which commences at 12:00:00 a.m. EDT and ends at 11:59:59 a.m. EDT.
ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the legal age of majority in their province/territory of residence and reside in Canada at the time of entry, except employees, representatives or agents (and those with whom such persons are domiciled, whether related or not) of the Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers, advertising/promotion agencies and any other individual(s), entity or entities involved in the development, production, implementation, administration or fulfillment of the Contest (collectively, the “Contest Parties”). Groups, clubs, organizations, businesses and commercial/non-commercial entities cannot participate.
Grand Prize: There will be one (1) Grand Prize (the, “Grand Prize”) package available to be won, consisting of: (i) a $2,500.00 CAD gift card (to a retailer selected by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion) to be used toward the purchase of a refrigerator (Samsung® 24.7 cu. Ft. side by side refrigerator); and (ii) a $500 CAD pre-paid gift card to help fill the refrigerator with food items as selected by the winner. The Grand Prize package has an approximate retail value of $3,000.00 CAD. Winner can select any refrigerator available from the retailer as selected by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion.
Gift cards are subject to the terms and conditions of the issuer and cannot be exchanged for cash or otherwise. If a purchase exceeds the value of the gift card, the winner will be responsible for any amount due which is over the value of the gift card (or the available balance at the time of purchase) (including applicable taxes). If any purchase does not exceed the gift card value, the remaining available balance will not be paid in cash to the winner but will remain on the gift card.
b. Secondary Prizes: There will be ten (10) Secondary Prizes (each a “Secondary Prize”) available to be won. Each Secondary Prize consists of a signed “Farm to Chef” Cooking through the Seasons cookbook by Lynn Crawford. Each Secondary Prize has an approximate retail value of $40.00 CAN.
All items associated with each Prize shall be selected by the Sponsor in its sole and absolute discretion and are subject to availability.
