Timing: The Sweepstakes begins on April 04, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. PST and ends on April 18, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. PST (the “Promotion Period”). Cathay Pacific’s computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes.
Eligibility: To be eligible to win, a participant must be a legal resident of Canada (excluding the province of Quebec) and have reached the age of majority in his or her province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Any potential participant who is an employee or contingent staff of Cathay Pacific Canada (“Cathay”), their affiliated companies, advertising agencies, prize suppliers or other representatives involved in any part of the administration and execution of this competition or a member of the respective immediate families of such employees or anyone with whom such employees are domiciled is ineligible to participate in the competition. “Immediate family” is defined as parents, siblings, children or spouse.

Prize: There are six (6) prizes available to be won. (a) One (1) Grand Prize consisting of: Two (2) Premium Economy Class tickets from Vancouver or Toronto to Hong Kong (approx. retail pair $5,760). Tickets includes roundtrip, Premium Economy Class air transportation for two (2) from a Cathay Pacific port city of winner’s choice (Toronto or Vancouver) to Hong Kong. Travel subject to availability and blackout dates. Travel must be roundtrip. Parties must travel together at the same time. Extensions to expiration date and/or substitution of other cities will not be permitted. Winner must complete the trip by May 14, 2019 or prize will be forfeited. Sponsor is not responsible for airline cancellations or delays. Unless otherwise specified, airline and flight itineraries are to be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Winner and travel companion must travel on dates specified by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Please note that some blackout dates will apply. Winner is responsible for paying all applicable ticket or airport taxes & fuel surcharges that may be required at the time of ticket issuance. Taxes will be advised prior to ticket issuance. Sponsor and Administrator will not be required to pay for any additional costs of flying to and from port cities (Toronto or Vancouver). All expenses and incidental travel costs not expressly stated in the package description above, including but not limited to, accommodations, meals, ground transportation, transportation to port cities, passenger tariffs or duties, surcharges, airport fees, service charges or facility charges, personal charges at lodging, security fees, taxes or other expenses or incidentals are the responsibility solely of winner. Travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older as of the date of departure and must travel on same itinerary and at the same time as the winner. Travel restrictions, conditions and limitations may apply. Both winner and travel companion are responsible for obtaining identification documents necessary for travel from Canada to Hong Kong. Sponsor will not replace any lost, mutilated, or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): CAD $5,760. Actual value may vary based on airfare fluctuations and distance between departure and destination. Winner will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value (b) Five (5) Runner Up Prizes consisting of: Five (5) Cathay Pacific Toiletries Bag (approx retail value $20.00). The prizes will be couriered to the winner’s mailing address within two (2) weeks of the receipt of the signed declaration and release. All taxes related to a prize are payable by the winner. Any costs or expenses incurred by the winners in claiming or using their prizes are the responsibility of the winners.
