Eligibility. The “Win a Parisian Getaway: In the Footsteps of Vigée Le Brun and Napoléon” contest (the “Contest”) starts at 12:00 noon Eastern Time on June 30, 2016 and ends at 12:00 noon Eastern Time on August 11, 2016 (the “Contest Period”).
The Contest is only open to residents of Canada who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time they submit their entries.
Prizes. There is one (1) grand prize available to be won in the Contest, consisting of the following items valued at approximately $7,000.00:
- Two (2) return airline tickets from Montreal or Toronto to Paris in Economy class on Air France. The tickets are subject to Air France’s additional terms and conditions;
- Five night’s stay in a standard room, including breakfast, at the Grand Hotel du Palais Royal Paris.
- Two adult admission tickets to the Grand Palais, located in the heart of Paris on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées;
- Two “Paris Musées” passes to visit special exhibitions on view at selected Paris city museums.
- Two (2) adult admission tickets to the Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun (1755–1842) exhibition, on view at the National Gallery of Canada until September 11, 2016;
- A Vigée Le Brun prize package from the Gallery’s Boutique, including the exhibition catalogue, film DVD (Le destin fabuleux d’Élisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun) and a Vigée Le Brun colouring book;
- Two adult admission tickets to the Canadian Museum of History, including the Napoléon and Paris exhibition on view from June 16, 2016 to January 8, 2017; and
- A Napoléon and Paris prize package from the Museum’s Boutique, including a souvenir catalogue of the presentation at the Canadian Museum of History, and the Napoléon et Paris publication from the Musée Carnavalet in Paris (French only).
There are six (6) weekly prizes available to be won in the Contest. Each weekly prize will consist of the following items valued at approximately $110.00:
- Two (2) adult admission tickets to the Elisabeth Louise Vigée Le Brun (1755–1842) exhibition at the National Gallery of Canada from June 10 to September 11, 2016, and the exhibition catalogue; and
- Two (2) adult admission tickets to the Napoléon and Paris exhibition at the Canadian Museum of History from June 16, 2016 to January 8, 2017, and a souvenir catalogue of the presentation at the Canadian Museum of History.
