Fru-Gals Review
I’m a HUGE fan of Ice Age, watched them all, and was super excited to watch Ice Age: Collision Course. Of coarse it helps that I’m the biggest kid at heart you will ever meet.
The plot is simple enough — after enjoying some much-needed peace after the dinosaurs, floods and continental drifts of Ice Ages past, the animals are living in prehistoric bliss once again. They are playing ice hockey, sipping coconut cocktails and planning anniversary parties and weddings. They squabble, they nuzzle and they hit the bar to escape their wives. There’s even a peaceful little commune led by a yogi llama (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) where no one ages. Life is good. But all the bucolic bounty is threatened when Buck (Simon Pegg), a hilarious eyepatch wearing weasel warns the crew that an asteroid is going to wipe them all out. And fast! Together with Buck, Manny (Romano), Ellie (Latifah), Sid (Leguizamo) and Diego (Leary) all work to redirect the asteroid and save the planet. I recommend EVERYONE should watch this from kids to adults alike!
